Where is Kingston?

Kingston is a coastal community in Southeastern Massachusetts, located about 35 miles south of Boston.
Before becoming incorporated in 1726, Kingston was known as the North Precinct of Plymouth. The Town's early history, as a part of the Plymouth Colony settled by the Pilgrims, initiated an active historical community.
Today, this town is a residential community comprised of fishermen and cranberry growers. Many of Kingston’s 14K+ residents commute to the city using the MBTA train in town.

Families in Kingston have access to excellent public schools. While the town shares a middle and high school (Silver Lake Regional) with the neighboring towns of Halifax and Plympton, Kingston does have its own elementary schools.

Silver Lake Regional High School caters to over 1,000 students in grades 9-12 and is located right in the heart of the Silver Lake area of Kingston. The district is known for its strong academics, dedicated teachers, and diverse extracurricular offerings.

For those seeking private education, there are several options in the surrounding towns and the greater South Shore area, such as Notre Dame Academy, located in Hingham, and Bay Farm Montessori Academy, located in Duxbury, the neighboring city.

Golfers will be delighted to know that Indian Pond Country Club is a centerpiece in Kingston. This championship golf club features an 18-hole course, a clubhouse, a pro shop, a golfers' lounge, a ballroom, and even a pool. Oh, and the best part?
